Alan Gold qualified BDS (Batchelor of Dental Surgery) at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in 1970. In the same year he also qualified LDS,RCS (Licentiate of Dental Surgery, Royal College of Surgeons of England).

Soon after qualifying Alan took the SAAD (Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry) courses in sedation and anaesthesia and since that time has treated many thousands of phobic dental patients.

In 1975 he joined forces with Roman Frianks to form the Franks and Gold partnership, now known as Knightsbridge Dental Care, in Beauchamp Place, Knightsbridge.

Alan has been a members of the London Dental Study Club for over 20 years.

Knightsbridge Dental Care has for many years had a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and was one of the first, if not the very first, dental practice in Britain to place cosmetic Porcelain Veneers on front teeth to improve a patient's smile.

Alan is a member of the Association of Dental Implantology and has attended numerous meetings and conferences of the organization. He has been placing dental implants since 1987.

He has also attended many conferences both in Britain and the USA concerning the treatment of migraine related to tempero-mandibular joint problems.

Dr Ayee-Marie McGrath joined the practice in 2011 as a full partner and practice co-owner.
 
Marie qualified from Kings College London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2000 with Distinction. She has a masters degree in Implantology and Surgical Dentistry and teaches part-time at the Implant Training Institute. She also sits on the Fitness to Practice Panel of the General Dental Council adjudicating on matters of clinical and professional conduct.
 
She has a special interest in Facial Aesthetics and in particular Botox and Collagen Facial Fillers. She also specialises in treating dental phobic patients.
 
Marie is passionate about quality dentistry and in providing the highest quality of service and care.
  
Jodie Roberts is Practice Manager at Knightsbridge Dental Care. She has been involved in dentistry for over 20 years.She is a registered qualified nurse with a post-graduate qualification in Dental Sedation. She has vast clinical and reception experience and has set up and managed several dental practices.
